Sunrise Beach spans almost the entire east coast of the island. Thod Kathin
Thod Kathin and Chulalongkorn Memorial Day can be fun religious days to be in Thailand for. Thod Kathin is celebrated as the day the rains will retreat. In Bangkok, there is a presentation of the Monk's Robes, but in Ko Lipe you can expect activities at the local temple. Chulalongkorn Memorial Day celebrates the death of Rama V. He was a revered king and one worthy of celebrating on a national level.
Island Cruises
Adong Rawi Archipelago has numerous islands to visit on a boat cruise. There are also various dive sites within the archipelago to make an enjoyable dive holiday. Thailand often attracts divers, snorkellers, and those who love the ocean. Visiting temples is without question a fun thing to do, but most tourist trades are centred around sea adventures. The water temperatures are perfect for diving and swimming.
Adang and Rawi are uninhabited islands in Tarutao National Marine Park, which is located a quick boat ride from Ko Lipe.
