Temperature
Enjoying warm temperatures is what Ko Lipe, Thailand is all about. Sunset Beach (Hat Pramong)
Hanging out on Sunset Beach for a day (or several!) is an absolute must. Sunset Beach, known as Hat Pramong among locals, offers great snorkelling, plus it's a perfect launch pad for a kayak to tour around the island. The beach is only about half a kilometre long and is located on the north side of Ko Lipe, but faces west toward the sunset. Its name is appropriatehere is a spectacular sunset almost every night. This is a rather quiet and laid-back area, an area that still radiates happiness, peace of mind and the charm of the atmosphere as it was before the big resorts arrived. Restaurant and beach bars built from driftwood add to the relaxed atmosphere.

Papaya Restaurant, also known as Nee Papaya, is found on a side street of popular Walking Street, the resort's main street. It's a classic place for traditional northern-style street food. Specialties, which you really should try, include seafood barbecue, deep-fried chicken, larb (a spicy minced meat salad) and som tam (a spicy green papaya salad).
Peace & Love Bar
The Peace & Love Bar is located right at Pattaya Beachiterally on the beach. It's a fabulous place to grab a beer or cocktail and enjoy some refreshing sips while sinking your feet into the warm sand.
Things to do in Ko Lipe in March
Walking Street
Ko Lipe is all about the sea, sun and sand, and soaking up the island's friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In between sun-worshipping and enjoying various water activities, a stroll through Ko Lipe, especially on Walking Street, will take in various street food stalls selling delectable (often spicy!) treats, shops, little cafes and bars, plus a good choice of restaurantsll laid back and open-air. The combination of these tropical and touristic ingredients is what makes Ko Lipe the perfect beach destination.
Chado Cliff and Pirate Falls
Ko Lipe in March is quiet in terms of festivals and events; however, with day trips to nearby islands available you might happen upon a small local festival or religious celebration. Chado Cliff and Pirate Falls on Ko Adang are enjoyable places to visit, as is the jungle on Ko Rawi. Temples are located on many of the surrounding islands and are well-worth looking out for as they will often play host to various religious rituals and celebrations.
Not only are these religious ceremonies fascinating to witness, they offer an interesting insight into the province's local culture and beliefs. Many islands and beaches in the area, such as massively popular Phuket or Ko Phi Phi, can be reached by ferry, speedboat or cruise.
