What's the Weather Like in Ko Lanta in September

September is usually the wettest and the most humid month of the year in Ko Lanta. And is also one of the coolest. This means that many visitors will avoid coming to this part of Thailand during this part of the year. But for those that do venture to the Krabi Province in September, there will be some wonderful rewards.

Temperature

Though L. Maladee Restaurant may not look that impressive from the outside, the food that they serve in this laid back restaurant is incredible. Fresh fish is the order of the day. But if you'd rather have something with a little more spice, the curries are simply divine. As the restaurant is squeezed between two other buildings, there is not much by way of a view. But the structures do offer great protection from the elements, ensuring this is a great place to eat, even when the heavens open. When the restaurant is quiet the owner will happily come and chat to his guests. But even when it is busy, the personal service on offer ensures you will always be satisfied.

Irie Bar and Restaurant

It doesn't matter whether you want to come to Irie Bar and Restaurant for a full blown meal or just some delicious drinks, everyone is made to feel welcome. Khlong Chak Waterfall

One fabulous advantage of coming to Ko Lanta in September is that the water levels are at their highest, which means Khlong Chak Waterfall is at its most impressive. Though this small waterfall can run dry in the months of March and April, during September the falls are always worth a trip. Walk through the jungle, explore the caves and marvel at the sights. If you are worried about the possibility of snakes underfoot, then why not see the entire area by elephant.
