What's the Weather Like in Ko Lanta in November
November is a great time of year to visit Ko Lanta, Thailand if you want to enjoy plenty of sunny weather and warm temperatures without the intense humidity and high rainfall of the wet season.
Temperature
During this time of year, average peak temperatures can reach up to 31°C at the hottest point of the day, dropping down to around 24°C after sunset.
Water temperatures will not be as high as they are during the peak period of March, April and May. But at an average in the very high 20°C's there is still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sea.
Humidity
The highest humidity levels, seen in September, are well and truly over by November, offering fresher days and fresher nights. And this is mainly due to the much drier days available at this time of the year.
Rainfall
The monsoon type weather experienced over the previous six months exacerbates, leaving much drier days and even drier nights. The average rainfall expected in November in this part of Thailand, falls to just 160mm. This is under half the level of rainfall expected in September, the wettest month of the year.
And while the level of precipitation falls extensively, so does the number of days that are expected to be wet. Only 9 days of November are likely to experience any sort of rainfall, ensuring plenty of warm hot days throughout this part of the year.
Average temperatures of 28°C are usually the same as the previous two months. However the decrease in the level of cloud, ensures a positive forecast for the rest of the year.
And with greater potential for finer days, this is a time when visitors will start to return to Ko Lanta in their droves, enjoying the warm November weather that is just not possible back in the UK.

Hit the Beach
Ao Klong Jark
Ao Klong Jark, also known as Waterfall Bay is a beach situated a little further on from Nui Bay Beach in the south of Ko Lanta. With calm waters and beautiful sand, Ao Klong Jark shows a more authentic side to the island. The area has been left relatively undeveloped, with only one resort and two restaurants on site. This means that it is not as popular with the younger crowd that like a wealth of facilities on hand. But for those that want a more authentic beach experience, and a quieter place to enjoy the sun, Ao Klong Jark Beach might be just the place to go.
Bars and Restaurants
Horizon View Bar
As the evenings clear, enjoy a meal and a beautiful sunset at the Horizon View Bar. As the name suggests, this is the best place to be as the sun goes down. Usually with a cool beer in your hand.
