Thunderstorms are the most common type of rainfall this time of year, happening on 56% of the days with rainfall. Moderate and light rain do occur as well, but are much less likely, observed on 28% and 15% of those days respectively. The probability that precipitation occur drops in the course of the monthrom 17% in the beginning to 7% at the end, which happens to be the lowest chance of rainfall in the whole year.

Located on the west coast of Ko Chang, Kai Bae Beach is much less visited than other beaches on this popular side of the island, which is surprising since it's an undeniably excellent beach. It lies somewhat between the hustle and bustle of White Sand Beach and the relaxed, laidback nature of Lonely Beachoth also located on the west coast. This sand beach is home to many shade-providing palm trees, while sunbathers can bask in the sun as well. Quite a calm area, this is ideal for peaceful dips in the 28°C-warm.
Fabulous Thai cuisine can be enjoyed at Ton Sai Restaurant located at Klong Prao Beach. Its menu is filled with amazing Thai dishes, priced affordably, and a wonderful selection of cocktails. This is definitely a recommended dining venue in this popular beach area.
Visitors can enjoy international cuisine at Nong Bua Seafood Restaurant at White Sand Beach. This family-owned eating establishment serves a wide range of dishes, from European to Thai and Chinese cuisine. Its specialty is barbecued fish and seafood.
Tamarin Restaurant lies in the centre of Bailan Beach. With its outdoor seating area, this inviting and popular restaurant is a suggested place to go for tasty Thai dishes, prepared in a typical Khmer stylet is run by a couple from France and Cambodia and its prices are low.

Starting in November, there's a very special natural show taking place in Ko Chang.
