Summer is the hottest time of year in Kiotari with warm temperatures with up to 14 hours of sunlight each day. Temperatures range from the pleasant high 20s zone to a hot 31°C, providing perfect weather for sunbathing upon its beautiful shingle beach. Rainfall is light during the summer months with up to 3 days of light drizzle, not reaching over four millimetres of rain each month. Summer can be a very hot time of year so visitors are advised to pack a high factor sun cream with them and to check the weather forecast prior their arrival
Autumn is slightly cooler compared to the summer months but holidaymakers and locals alike can still enjoy its pleasant weather, reaching up to 20°C in November (typically the coolest month in Autumn) and temperatures can reach around 25°C (give or take a few degrees) in September and October. Kiotari receives slightly more rainfall than the previous season with an average of 5 days of precipitation each month. November is the wettest month of the year with up to ninety one millimetres of rain. September is fairly dry however, with only ten millimetres of rain. Overall, rainfall is not too bad in Kiotari but it is still recommended that visitors bring an umbrella with them lest they be caught in the rain.
Winter is typically the coldest time of year, as well as the wettest. The average temperature drops to around 17°C and can get quite cool from December to February, so visitors are advised to wrap up warm and to bring some extra layers with them. Sunbathing is not really an option in the winter, but Kiotari still offers activities such as browsing the little souvenir shops and exploring nearby villages including the pretty Lindos village with its picturesque surroundings and spectacular sights. However, winter can be a rather wet time of year in Kiotari with up 158 millimetres of rain each month, so waterproofs and umbrellas are recommended.
Spring is thankfully a warmer and sunnier time of year compared to the chilly winter months with temperatures ranging around 17 to 24°C, so some days may be warm enough to spend lounging on Kiotariâs pretty shingle beach, soaking up the sunshine. Spring receives considerably less rain than winter at a maximum of only 77 millimetres of precipitation during March, the wettest month of spring. May only receives a small sprinkling of 16 millimetres of rain.
With its pleasant climate, Kiotari is a beautiful place to spend oneâs holidays. And with its selection of water sports, rays of sunshine, mini markets, restaurants, taverns and bars, there is something for all.
