Kemer is a popular beachside holiday resort located on the coast of Turkey in an area that's known as the Turquoise Coast this area is famous for its sparkling blue waters and stunning scenery.

The resort's location means that it has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot sunny summers and cooler but mild winters.

Additionally, the Taurus Mountains that back the resort and have a major influence on the weather. Acting as a barrier, they stop any cold winds and changeable weather that could come up from the south of Turkey. As a result, Kemer has a very predictable weather pattern, though tourists are always advised to check the weather forecast before they travel, just in case.

September marks the end of summer in Kemer, but the weather is still rather summer-like in many ways. Temperatures remain high, with an average of 24°C and a balmy high of 30°C during the day.
