October marks the beginning of the short autumn season in Kemer. Although many tourists would view October as a less-than-desirable time to visit Kemer, they should think again. The mild but still summer-like temperatures make for a beautiful vacation that can include an array of activities.

No matter what time of year you visit Kemer, you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating and drinking. The resort is packed with excellent restaurants, bars and cafés that cater to every taste and budget.
Sirena Restaurant is highly rated by past visitors thanks to its convenient central location opposite Kemer Tower and its delicious food. The menu features an array of traditional Turkish flavours as well as some more European-inspired dishes. The fresh seafood is particularly recommended.
Another great choice is Nasrettin Hocha where you'll find an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine and hospitality. The friendly restaurant serves a range of delicious meat and fish dishes as well as traditional Turkish flatbread which is recommended. Guests can people watch out the front of the establishment or enjoy a peaceful dinner in the restaurant's garden.
Last but not least, for something a little different head to La Piazetta located at the Fantasia De Luxe Hotel in Camyuva. The food here is typically Italian, from pizza to panacotta and there's a great selection of wine. The outdoor terrace is ideal for al fresco dining on warm October evenings.
The weather in Kemer is much more comfortable in October than it is in the sweltering summer season and many tourists take this opportunity to visit some of the attractions in the area.
One of these is Eko Park located in Tekirova. The Ecological Natural Park covers an area of 40,000m2 and provides a shelter for species that are under threat of extinction. Here, tourists can not only view reptiles such as snakes, crocodiles, lizards, turtles and iguanas, but they can also see various species of plants, birds and insects.
Another activity that families and couples of all ages might enjoy is horseback riding. In recent years, several horse stables have been established in Kemer, which offer daily tours of the beautiful forests and mountains of Kemer. Some of them even offer rides right on the beach.
