July and August are the months of Kavos's peak tourist season. Many tourists(mainly 18-30s) visit during these months to party in the countless bars, discos, and clubs that make up the world-famous nightlife of Kavos, Greece.

The beaches are warm and sunny, although many of these party animals don't make it out early enough to enjoy the morning sun. In general, when they do rise, they mostly prefer the water of the hotel pools for recharging their batteries until the next night out!

Therefore, those travelling with children could avoid the high traffic of the afternoon and nighttime hours and still have a pleasant and relatively quiet vacation.

Water sports and activities are plentiful during this time of year.

On the beach, tourists will find opportunities to jet ski or water ski, parasail, or ride speed boats.

There are also boat trips around the coast of the island of Corfu which provide a unique look at the island from a completely different angle.

Other boat tours, such as the Booze Cruise and Theo's Boat BBQ, are all-day events full of various activities at one price.

The average temperature is 79.5°F (26.4°C) during July.

Kavos's average low temperature is a mild 68°F (20°C) at this time of year, while highs can reach a blistering 89°F (32°C). Tourists should remember the sunscreen, especially if they are taking one of the all-day boat tours.

The average sea temperature is at its warmest in July and August.

There is an average of only 0.5" (12 mm) of precipitation, making July Kavos's driest month.

There is an average of only 2 days of precipitation.

There is an average of 15 hours of sunlight every day, and an astonishing 12 of those hours are full sun.
