Weather conditions in Jeddah during March may not be at their best being mostly hot and humid. Janadriyah Festival, Saudi Arabia's first National Heritage and Folk Culture Festival, takes place this month. The two week festival includes numerous traditional activities such as arts and crafts exhibits, camel racing, folk dancing and readings. Janadriyah is located in the eastern part of Jeddah.
The World's Tallest Fountain, also known as King Fahd's Fountain, is located in the Corniche, near Falistine Street. This amazing fountain can be seen across the whole of Jeddah with the jet water reaching 1,024 feet above the Red Sea level.
Well worth a visit is Jungle Land, one of Saudi Arabia's biggest theme parks located in Meral Village in northeast Jeddah. Jungle Land attracts people from far and wide looking for a visceral thrill on the park's various exiting rides and attractions, including the ominously named 'Well of Death'.
