Weather
Very variable.
Gale Force 9 on Thursday meant that we had to sail from Hamble to Cowes rather than Yarmouth.
Good force 3 to 4 on Friday meant a good passage to Yarmouth, followed by a good day's racing with other Pilot Cutters.
Calm force 0 to 2 on Saturday meant patchy, but enjoyable, racing conditions.
Pleasant force 2 for the retun to Hamble.Holiday
Wonderful opportunity to sail and race on an authentic classic sailing vessel.
Superb company in an 'all muck-in together' environment.
Good prize giving dinner at the Royal Solent Yacht Club.Recommend Isle of Wight to others?
