Mostly dry and sunny not too hot like Spain or Portugal so you can out and travel on bikes.
Holiday
Typically French relaxed one of the nicest places we have been and we have travelled extensivley.

Weather
The weather was stunning 24/7 - it didn't rain at all! The hottest day was about 32 Celsius; we went in July.
Holiday
We were at a camp site near Ars-en-Re. It was beautiful there. We didn't drive at all on the island, it was all about bike riding!

Weather
We were in Ile De Re in June for 2 weeks. It was absolutley glorious weather, with one or two thunder storms.
Holiday
We were there for the last two weeks of June and we stayed in La Flotte. It was very relaxing and chilled out holiday. The night life centered around cafes and restaurants etc.
The seas were a little rough at times, we spent most days cycling around the island which is very simple to do as it is quite flat.
We and our extended family love going there, either stay in a big hotel or rent a nice house.
The restaurants are generally good, one or two are not so great. The prices are ok although some are a little pricey.
It is a great place for families and mature couples, not so sure about single "twenties" etc.Recommend Ile De Re to others?

Weather
The weather was lovely. It was hot yet not too hot with a gentle breeze. On a few days the day started off a little cloudy but by lunchtime the sun had burnt through the clouds to reveal a beautiful blue sky.
Holiday
Relaxing place with a slow pace of life.
Seing the island by bike is essential, utter bliss cycling through vineyards, forests and stopping off at beaches.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit.
There are plenty of restaurants, specialising in seafood.Recommend Ile De Re to others?
