What's the Weather like in Icmeler in July
Temperature
The big crowds already began to arrive in late June, but July is when the peak summer season really begins in Icmeler. July gets extremely busy, as holiday-makers descend by the thousands. This month has arguably the best weather of the entire year, together with August, the other high season month. The average daily temperature in July is a warm 25°C, which is the highest average temperature of the year. The average daily high temperature is 28°C, but in the afternoon the mercury almost always rises above the 30-degree mark. Daily average lows range around 21°C, making the evenings comfortably warm and excellent for beachfront strolls. About 35% of the days in July are classified as hot and 50% as warm.
Sea Temperature
The sea temperature averages 24°C in July, one degree more than June, but still one degree less than August and September. July is characterised by basically constant temperatures throughout the month; it is the second-hottest month of the year, after August.
Cloud
Median cloud cover in July is a mere 13%. A decrease is observed throughout the month: July 1 has 15% of cloud cover, while July 25 has only 12% of cloud cover. Historically, July 25 is also the clearest day of the entire year. The July skies are overcast only 1% of the time. There are virtually no clouds and this results, obviously, in lots of sunshine.
Sunshine
July receives eleven glorious hours of sunshine per day, the highest amount of the year, a statistic that is, again, shared with August.
The length of the days in July is gradually decreasing in the course of the month, although not a lot. July 1 is the longest day of the month with 14.37 hours of daylight; July 31 is the shortest day with 14.01 daylight hours.
Rainfall
Precipitation is essentially absent in July. The average probability that rainfall occurs on any given July day is 4%. This is a percentage that decreases in the course of the month. July 1 is historically the day with the highest chance of rainfall, although that chance is only 5%. July 31 has the least rainfall: a 2% chance, which is basically zero. One or two days with precipitation can be expected in Icmeler in July, but rainfall nearly always occurs as short thunderstorms. 85% of all rainfall are thunderstorms. Precipitation is least likely around the end of July and the beginning of August.
If you want to spend time sunbathing, swimming and doing other kinds of water sports, this is the time to go and place to be. However, if you're uncomfortable in large crowds, it may be best to go in either June or September, when the weather is still very pleasant, but the summer crowds are gone.
