What's the weather like in Hua Hin in November
With the wet season almost gone, the cool and dry season tries to gently set in. However November still delivers consistent precipitation, the second highest amount of the year after October!

The average temperature drops to 27°C (81°F), with the hotter end at 30°C. The nights are slightly cooler, expected to reach 24°C on average. Humidity drops to a comfortable 80%, making the afternoons a delight for all those involved.

The days are longer, experiencing up to 8 hours of glorious sunshine, and chances of sunny days spring up to 68% on average. Chances of cloudy days drop to 15% and chances of rain also drop to a mere 12% on average. However don't think those occasional showers won't have something to show!

Riche Hua Hin Hotel is a 4-star resort, offering superior king rooms for an incredible £25 per night for couples. It's only 0.9 miles from Plearnwan Market and features an outdoor pool, fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk. Its modern rooms are fitted with air conditioning, flat screen TV, and electric kettle and fridge, as well as a private balcony and en suite bathroom. The hotel also offers meeting facilities and luggage storage.
Thipuray Beach Hotel
The 2-star Thipuray Beach Hotel may be cheap, but it's also incredibly charming. Its standard double or twin rooms go for £18 per night, and feature air conditioning, a comfy lounge area, a flat screen TV and an en suite bathroom. The hotel is just a 2-min walk from Hua Hin Beach, and features an outdoor pool, as well as a restaurant which specializes in Thai seafood, Chinese and European cuisine. The bar offers some great refreshments and cocktails.

Hat Wanakon National Park
November is certainly a good time to visit some of the local and more remote beaches around Hua Hin, if Cha-Am or the stupendous Khao Takiab just don't cut it for you. You can make your way down to Hat Wanakon National Park, situated just 23km from Prachuab Khiri Khan, and easily reached by train. This is a 38sqm park, stretching alongside a fine 7km pine lined beach strip covered in white sand and bordered by almost turquoise waters.
Camping is allowed in this area good news for all the adventurous backpackers out there! You can engage in some fun snorkelling around the offshore islands of this marine park, and you can also go swimming, hiking or even bird watching. This lush corner of paradise is riddled with tropical flora and fauna, so the prospect of lounging by a quiet beach surrounded by exotic plants and birds is certainly something we wouldn't mind enjoying while in Hua Hin. Admission is 100 Baht per person and it is certainly worth it, as you will also find complete amenities and restaurants in the area for your convenience.
The waters are warm and the entrance is generally shallow, but as the month of December comes along, you'll find the tides getting higher and the deep waters cooler, great for supervised deep diving and even kite boarding.

Angie's Bistro
Angie's Bistro is one of Hua Hin's favourite foodie spots, serving a delicious variety of authentic Thai dishes, as well as European and Asian specialties. The prices are wallet-friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the high quality of service will certainly make you come back for more.
S&S Indian Restaurant
For a special taste of distant India, you can try the S&S Indian Restaurant, which serves both Thai and original Indian cuisine. The food is delicious and all the spices are original and, if not locally sourced, directly imported from India.
Admiral Bar and Grill
The Admiral Bar & Grill is another favourite amongst the locals and expats alike, as it's a genuine steakhouse which also specializes in seafood, European, Thai and Scandinavian specialties. This place combines the consistent and cool northern flavours with the exotic oriental tastes of Asia, sprinkled in between with some continental classics. The service is great and the price range is also quite moderate.
Things to do in Hua Hin in November
Kaeng Krachan National Park
You definitely have to take one of the day-long trips to Kaeng Krachan National Park, which features the breath-taking 11-tiered Pala-U waterfall. Spend an entire day in the Thai countryside and immerse yourself into the local culture as part of this wonderful tour, and experience the unspoiled jungle of the natural resort and marvel at the multitude of exotic plants and animals thriving in this massive area.
You can even swim in the pools beside the waterfalls and later enjoy an authentic Thai lunch as part of your day-trip. Make sure you stock up on the water, as it does get hot around noon.
Snorkelling Tours at Talu Island
You can also take one of the full day snorkelling tours at Talu Island, starting from Hua Hin and also including a delicious lunch. You'll be taken on a drive through the unspoilt scenery which greets you on your way to the Bang Saphan district, where you'll board a speedboat which will then take you to the lovely little island of Talu. This is where you'll find incredible blue waters and superb scenery, prefect for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling around. Myriads of exotic fish and colourful crystals will further enhance your diving experience.
Wat Mahathat Worawihan
Take a day trip to the Wat Mahathat Worawihan & Summer Palace while you're in the area, including the almsgiving "feature" of the tour. Explore the superb summer palace complex of King Mongkut, one of Thailand's most revered kings. Marvel at the images of Buddha inside the Khao Luang Cave, and visit one of the oldest temples in the area: the Wat Mahatharat Worawihan, where you can offer alms to the monks for good wishes and spiritual enlightenment.
A cable car will take you and down the mountain, after which you can move on to Khao Luang, or Royal Mountain, a small hill with a splendid cave filled with ancient Buddha images and a beautiful temple to the right of the cave entrance. For some added fun, you can buy nuts and bananas from local vendors and give them to the monkeys which populate the entrance of the cave.
Events
18th of November is not a national holiday but it's of great significance to the people. The Thais gather on this evening to pay their respects to the Water Goddess, by floating candlelit offerings on any and all the waterway around the kingdom, including in Hua Hin. The Pranburi Dragon Boat Races also take place in November, so you might want to keep an eye out on the local travel blogs for date and time updates closer to the event.
