Mardi Gras comes to Houston in February, with a two week festival that is fun for all the family.
Millions of people attend the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which is a 3 week event and features some famous country music musicians.
February is also the month that has the Texas Home and Garden Show. For this over 1,500 exhibitors present interactive displays on home and garden maintenance eschewing the virtues of green living.
The Susan G. Komen Foundation Pink Tie Gala and gala is also held in this month, with all proceeds raised going towards research and assistance programs for those who suffer from breast cancer.
