Holguin is a popular destination for holidaymakers because it boasts very warm temperatures throughout the year but does have a rainy season and a hurricane season. The summer months of June, July, August and September see the highest average temperature in the year at a hot 27°C. The winter month of January sees the lowest average temperature of the year but still at a very warm 22°C.
