The actual menus are handwritten, as what is offered could change daily or weekly depending on Higueras' inspiration and experimentation in the kitchen.
On a more traditional note, Puerto de Sagua serves seafood prepared according to traditional Cuban and Caribbean recipes. The restaurant has enjoyed increased popularity since a visit from famous chef Anthony Bourdain, but retains the laid back and reasonably priced menu that made it popular.
