What's the Weather Like in Hanoi in August

Temperature

In the city of Hanoi, average temperatures are still at their annual maximum in August. Things to do in Hanoi in August

Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is a bustling city that boasts attractive sightseeing, colonial architecture and many things to do both day and night. West Lake

Maison Centrale (Hoa Lo) is a former prison  that was initially put into use by the French colonists. During the Vietnam War, American prisoners of war nicknamed this building as "Hanoi Hilton." This attraction showcases how imprisoned Vietnamese, and Americans after them, were treated. A sculptural installation revealing how some prisoners dug their way to freedom is among the museum's highlights.
