Located on the north coast of Greece; Hanioti is a small resort on the shoreline of the Aegean Sea features a typical Mediterranean climate with long warm summers, and cool to mild winters. Because Hanioti is situated in the north of Greece, the average temperature experienced in this region tends to be cooler than that in the south of Greece. Nevertheless, Hanioti still has outstanding weather with over 300 days of sunshine every year. While summers are extensively hot, winters can be cooler than the typical winters expected of a Mediterranean climate.
With its renowned sunshine and stunning beaches, Hanioti attracts many holidaymakers each year. The town gives an annual average temperature of 18°C; however climates are known to rise above 30°C in the peak of summer.
