Things to do in Halkidiki in December
A fun activity for the whole family is to hire a kayak and head out on the waves. You can hire a boat or kayak from Sea Ride. The kayaks are all transparent so you can spot colourful fish and survey the seabed beneath you. A must do while in the Halkidiki region is exploring the Petralona Cave. This cave is famous for its stalactite and stalagmite decoration and the fossilised skull and bones of a transitional form between Homo erectus and Homo sapiens.
