What's the weather like in Guardalavaca in September

If you are looking for the summer, you have found it though its days are now numbered. September is the last month in which you will find peak summer weather in Guardalavaca, so make the most of it and also enjoy the fact that a lot of families will stay at home this month, with kids and young adults starting back at school or university.

Temperature

The average daily temperature sits at 27°C for the last of four successive months the summer here is nothing if not consistent. Also staying the same as in previous months is the average highs and lows: you will find the climate dropping below the average to around 23°C, and up above it to around 31°C, with plenty of variation in-between each day.

Sea Temperature

The sea temperature will also remain fantastic, at 29°C. This is almost certainly due in part to the 9 hours of sunshine that beam down every day, ensuring that the water is strongly heated and is pleasant on your skin. It may even feel a little warm to some who are not used to higher temperatures, but this phenomenon is very enjoyable. Many people find it refreshing to be able to get into the water without worrying about it being cold!

Rainfall

You will need to watch out for rainfall, however. This month is second only to June in terms of the amount that will come down, with a total of 163mm on average. That comes down across 12 days scattered throughout the month, and so you are going to need to pay attention to the weather forecast if you want to avoid being caught out in the rain with nothing to keep yourself dry.

If you are looking for a day trip to a nearby resort with similar hot weather, Canales is a good bet. The temperature only fluctuates by a degree or two between the two locations and the rainfall is actually lower there. Plus, it's near to some new beaches which you can try out.

Guardalavaca Hotels in September

September is a quieter time of year, whether in a family hotel or not. This makes it a good time to get a room in a casa like the Villa La Roca Holguinera, which is run by a Cuban family and has just a few rooms available. You could also consider the Juan Bed and Breakfast. Here you will find furnished rooms with breakfast provided, though you are on your own for lunch and dinner. It's a bit more of an independent option, and though the rooms are comfortable, you may wish to stay out for most of your time exploring. With only two bedrooms, your stay will certainly be quiet.

The Casa Mirador Alturas del Ocaso is another small apartment available for holiday rental. Your host will provide a laundry service as well as your meals, and will also introduce you to the local area. There is a television with DVD player in the room if you just want to stay in for the night, and parking is available if you wish to rent a car.
