El Madano Beach
The beach at El Medano, an out-of-the-way seaside village, is a long stretch of sand with gentle winds providing ample waves for surfing and other water sports. The surfers use one end of the beach, while the swimmers have the other end. A promenade runs the length of the beach where there are several shops, restaurants, bars, and water sport rentals such as surfboards and wet suits. Because of the winds, the World Kite Surfing Championship takes place here every year. There is plenty of parking and the island buses stop in the village.

Restaurant Coeur de Filet
The Restaurant Coeur de Filet, which is French for "Heart of Fillet," located near Fanabe Beach in Costa Adeje, is fine dining with a European influence. The dishes reflect the cooking styles of France, Italy, and Spain to give this favourite a unique taste. The menu reflects seasonable availability of the local ingredients, so everything is as fresh as possible. Specials include fillet with morel mushroom sauce and fillet with puff pastry and Bordeaux sauce.
RnB's Family Bar
RnB's Family Bar, by the old house on the harbour beach promenade in Los Cristianos, is a family run, British pub with a beautiful view of the water. The food is fresh and homemade, featuring steaks, ribs, cottage, pie, burgers, hunters chicken, fish and chips, sandwiches, and full English breakfasts. The bar has a wide selection of cocktails, including a two for one happy hour before 6 pm. There are three TV screens for showing football, and an English roast is served on Sunday.

Helidream Canarias
Helidream Canarias, in Adeje, offers helicopter trips over Tenerife where you can witness the beautiful views of the coast, mountains, canyons, with Mt. Teide in the background. Photographs are taken and a camera is installed for making personal DVDs available at the end of the trip. The trip is suitable for all ages with the pilot making sure that smaller children feel safe. Champagne is served upon landing. The airport is located on Calle Charfa (Charfa Street) near the roundabout where the TF1 motorway begins in Adeje.
Mar de Ons
For a variety of maritime excursions, Mar de Ons, departing from the harbour in Arona, offers various types of adventures from a two hour whale photo safari, a three or five hour sailboat ride, or a high speed fishing cruise. There are several vessels from which to choose including a "pirate ship" that remains stable in rough waters, or a glass bottom catamaran. The guides are knowledgeable of the sea life and take photos of your trip. If no whales are witnessed, you are provided with a free pass for another trip on another day.
Golf Real Club
Golf Real Club also known as El Penon, near Santa Cruz on the north coast, is a British style golf course three hundred yards above the sea. Built in 1932, it is the second oldest course in the Canaries and the 11th oldest in all of Spain. The fairways are lined with pine and bay trees, large eucalyptus bushes and beautiful floral shrubs. The dining room features elegant wood panels or dine on the terrace.
