The Parque Verde in Golf del Sur has full apartments and studios each with a private balcony overlooking the pool area of which there are three. The units have a kitchenette with stove, microwave, and coffee maker, plus a television with international channels. The property has a shaded barbecue area, tennis courts, restaurant, and a grocery story nearby. San Blas Marina is only a quarter of a mile away and the airport can be reached in ten minutes. Los Cristianos Beach

Tito's, also in Los Abrigos, is easily missed by tourists but is a favorite of the local residents. Featuring fresh fish, prepared in a simple yet gourmet fashion, the restaurant has no menu: a diner selects their choices from the fish cabinet and instructs the chef on how they would like it prepared. There are good house wines, freshly baked bread, and delicious salads. Start with the calamari; try the sole, grouper, baby squid, octopus, or sardines. The sauces are delicate and the entrees are accompanied by Canarian potatoes.
Gullivers Grillhouse
Gullivers Grillhouse, in San Blas, opened in 1999 with a private dinner of Beef Wellington and is still run by the same owners and management team today. It boasts a quaint and old-fashioned décor, a covered terrace for outside dining, and an open kitchen where diners can view the action of the chefs.
The dining experience begins with garlic bread and main courses include fish and chips with mush peas, minted lamb burger and penne pasta and hamburgers for the little ones who eat free.
Things to do in Golf del Sur in June
Amarilla Golf
Amarilla Golf, with its stunning views of the Marina San Miquel and the Atlantic ocean is a 18 hole, par 72 two course that takes you down to the sea, then back up a hill through a residential neighbourhood. The fairways are wide, put the course provides challenges including hills and one par three whole requiring an accurate shot across a stretch of the sea to a small green. There is also a small nine whole pitch and putt practice course on the property.
Must Cat Catamaran
Must Cat Catamaran leaves from Las Galietas Harbour in the small village of Las Gailetas for a sailing excursion through the beautiful waters of Tenerife as you view the picturesque shores. Perhaps you will see the whales and dolphins, or possibly the rare giant turtles that inhabit the Canary Islands. Snacks and drinks are served and stops are made for swimming and snorkeling. Must Cat Tenerife sails everyday except Saturday and features a sunset sail on Wednesdays and Sundays that include a barbecue and drinks.
The Monkey Park
The Monkey Park in Llana Azul Arona is a great experience for children of all ages where they can feed the large collection of monkeys and iguanas. Located between Los Cristianos and Play de las Americas, this tiny zoo also displays turtles, guinea pigs, a wide selection of birds and reptiles and even Cuban crocodiles. Monkeys roam freely and the lemurs can be fed and petted.
