The Golden Sands Nature Park is a must see for nature lovers. With its abundance of wildlife and plant life, many people opt for a jeep safari in order to fully appreciate the delicate eco-system of the forest.
Further afield, you can visit one of the many rock monasteries carved into the hillsides or the ancient ruined palace at Perperikon, which dates from the 13th century BC. The pretty village of Balchik is also worth a visit as it houses the Historical Museum, containing many ancient artefacts from the area.
Back at the resort you can indulge in sports such as tennis, basketball and volleyball. There is also a horse riding school, so you can gallop along the seafront as the sun goes down!
For those with families there is Children's World where you can drop the kids with minders who occupy them with lots of activities and trips to safe swimming pools. There is also the Aquapolis water park and plenty of themed restaurants to choose from.
In the evenings there are plenty of bars and nightclubs to dance the night away in!
