Fuerteventura Beach for February

Las Clavellinas Beach

Las Clavellinas Beach is one of the best family-friendly beaches in Corralejo, thanks to the shallow, clean waters which are always perfectly still making them ideal for small children to swim in. Despite its small size the golden sand only stretches on for 100m this beach rarely gets crowded in the winter months, so you should never struggle to secure your favourite spot to lie down your towel.

Although there are no food or drink kiosks directly on the beach, Las Clavellinas is backed by a bustling promenade where you'll find loads of bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. There are, however, basic services and facilities on the beach, including sun loungers and parasols which you can hire for the day.

Muelle Chico

Muelle Chico is another top pick if you're looking for small, family-friendly beaches in Corralejo. This golden sandy bay is larger than Las Clavellinas Beach stretching on for about 200m and faces the tiny islet of Los Lobos. Even though it's relatively small, this urban beach is surrounded by activity, with loads of bars, restaurants and shops found just steps away in the centre of the resort.

Thanks to the harbour which protects the beach on one side, rough waves can never reach the shore, so the sea is always calm enough for swimming in even when it's windy. Onsite services and facilities include sun loungers, parasols and life guard patrol.

Bars and Restaurants

Dr Drink

Dr Drink is the place to go if you're looking for a lively party atmosphere in Fuerteventura. This bar stands out from the crowd for its theme parties including Hawaiian and moustache parties and buzzing atmosphere which is usually created by their lengthy cocktail list and affordable drinks prices.

Parque Natural de Corralejo

Parque Natural de Corralejo is arguably Fuerteventura's most iconic landmark, making it a must-visit during your holiday.
