The average day temperature is 28°C. August experiences a similar average temperature. Even the sea water is warm and averages a bath-like 26°C.
Rainfall
Rainfall is extremely rare in July with only 3 days of rain on average and merely 10mm of rainfall in total. July is without question one of the driest months of the year. The average likelihood that precipitation occurs is 4% this time of yearith July 31 as one of the driest days of the whole year, with a 2% chance that it will rain. There really is only one main type of rainfall this month: thunderstorms. They occur on no less than 85% of the days with rainfall. One great place to experience the weather and sun is at the main beach, Calis. Calis Beach lies just north of Fethiye. Megri Restaurant
Situated in the heart of the resort, on the edge of historic Paspatur, Megri Restaurant has been a favorite dining venue among locals and tourists alike for many years. This so-called Lokanta-style restaurant serves numerous vegetarian dishes, but also one of the best traditional lamb kebabs around.
King Garden Restaurant
Arguably one of the greatest eating venues in Fethiye, the Kings Garden Restaurant sits right beneath the spectacular Lycian Rock Tombs and overlooks the town and the sea and islands beyond. The indoor and outdoor seating areas make that this is a popular place all-year round. While the views are incredible, the food is great as well. The menu focuses on traditional cuisine, such as Ottoman and Turkish dishes. If you reserve a table in advance, the restaurant will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
Things to do in Fethiye in July
Babadag
One of the most popular places in Europe to go paragliding is Fethiye. If you are looking for an adventure, paragliding is the perfect activity. In Fethiye, you will begin your paragliding adventure at the top of a mountain, Babadag. Your paragliding trip will end on the beach. Even if you have never paraglided before, you can learn how by taking advantage of all the schools and training centres in the area.
When the days get darker and the temperature starts to come down you will want to take advantage of the beautiful sunsets that Fethiye is known for. Luckily, there are many great places to view these famous sunsets.
