Faro Beach for October

A top place to try some Portuguese cuisine is Bioco Casa de Pasto located in Olhao. Bioco serves delicious Portuguese tapas for a great price. Things to do in Faro in October
October is a perfect time to golf in the Algarve region. With tons of courses on offer a must-play course is the San Lorenzo Golf Course. This course borders the Ria Formosa in Quinta do Lago about 30 minutes from Faro. Consistently voted one of the top 10 courses in continental Europe, this is a must for keen golfers. Built by golf architect Joseph Lee in 1988, you will get views of the Ria Formosa, Atlantic Ocean, and even play a hole in a bird reserve. Rates are 180 for 18 holes and 92 for 9 holes.
