Paseo Maritimo de Estepona
It's not a good time to bask in the sun or bother packing a swimsuit, really, unless you're looking to try out the lovely sea water, then hide beneath a fluffy towel. But for a good view of some of Estepona's most beautiful beaches, you can easily go on long walks along the Paseo Maritimo de Estepona, a beautiful promenade following the gold sands and ultramarine waters of the Mediterranean. The views are to die for, and the esplanade itself is flanked by numerous bars, terraces, restaurants and boutique shops just waiting to be discovered.

Near Plaza de Las Flores in Estepona's old town sits Madubar, framed by a charming little square lined with orange trees. This fusion bar/restaurant is quite trendy and popular amongst the locals, with great ambience and food. They're open every day for lunch and dinner, and they also do special theme nights.
La Casa del Rey
La Casa del Rey can also be found near the Flower Square on Calle Raphael, is known as one of Estepona's best wine/tapas bara and restaurants. It's quite new, first opening its doors in 2013, but the food is delicious and served in a variety of dishes, the wine list is wonderful and the service is excellent, complimented by a nice interior design, with a modern and yet authentic Spanish look. The bar area buzzes every evening and the inner courtyard is open to the sky and simply breath-taking.
La Esquina del Arte
La Esquina del Arte, on Villa 8 is another new and super popular tapas bar and restaurant in Estepona. It's situated on one of the prettier streets of the old town centre, on a corner close to the covered food market. They serve some very creative small tapa dishes for just 2 Euros, as well as light lunches, dinner or just coffee. The wine list is impressive, and the modern interior and good service are further complimented by the pleasure of outdoor seating. This place is good for both meals and drinks with friends.
Things to do in Estepona in November
Valpariso Restaurant
Spain is well known for its tradition of the flamenco dance, and Costa del Sol is no stranger to hosting regular nights where professional and extremely talented dancers can showcase their vigour and elegance. One such place can be found on the Fuerongirola to Mijas Pueblo, and it is called Valpariso Restaurant they put together lovely performances, often accompanied by a delicious authentic Andalusian dinner.
SELWO Nature Park
SELWO Nature Park is one of Estepona's most precious establishments, unique in Europe due to the immense diversity of its fauna animals from five continents coexist in semi-wild conditions. The park is divided into several zones of interest, each featuring a different set of creatures to observe and admire. The first remarkable spot to explore is the lagoon, which is riddled with exotic birds, including the bright and colourful flamingos.
Nearby you'll find habitats best suited for birds and monkeys. One of the park's best features is the man-made canyon, a bird sanctuary enclosed by hills and lush flora, home to 40 different species of feathered creatures. Most of the tour is done via an all-terrain truck, but there are also great pathways to explore on foot, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes when visiting SELWO.
Hot Air Balloons
When the sun is out and bright, and given that the winds are very mild compared to other periods in the year, you can still go on a hot air ballooning adventure in Estepona. It's a magical lighter than air flight in the undiscovered Andalusian hinterland near Costa del Sol, giving you a bird's eye view of the charming Spanish countryside.
