Like a mid-western fall day when I was there in early Feb 2014.
Safe, clean, VERY cheap and incredibly beautiful countryside.Holiday
It was almost like visiting another world. Incredible landscapes, friendly people and unusual animals everywhere.
The food was great according to my travel companions......for me it was a little off-putting seeing skewered lamb etc etc. Don't take my food criticism too seriously. I'm picky.
No nightlife in El Calafate as far as I know.Recommend El calafate to others?
