If you are an arts fan, be sure to explore the world's largest arts festival. The Edinburgh Fringe offers hundreds of stages throughout the city featuring big names and those who are up and coming. If you find yourself in Edinburgh in August, you simply cannot miss The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Taking place every weekday evening and twice on Saturdays throughout the month. This annual event is performed by members of the British Armed Forces, international military bands and Commonwealth bands. Be sure to get your tickets early, as they will sell out in advance.
