Ramadan 🛐
Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims, when it is believed that God revealed the first verses of the Qur'an to Mohammed on a night known as "The Night of Power" (or Laylat al-Qadr in Arabic). Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day, followed by a large fast and prayers. In Dubai, it is illegal to eat and drink in public during Ramadan, with an exception for children, so you can only eat in closed-off sections of restaurants specifically for non-fasters.
