Dubai Beaches in April

Quay Healthclub

The Quay Healthclub offers 2km of pristine golden sand, with stunning views of the world's first 7-star hotel the Burj Al Arab. The Quay Club is rather pricey but you are granted access to two swimming pools, towels, free kids' beach toys, a beach butler service and a delicious restaurant and bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day. This beach is very popular; so if you want to bag a sun bed make sure to arrive early.

Club Joumana

On the other hand this is a quieter option, located just 15 minutes away from the Dubai Marina. This beach club offers a long stretch of fine sand and three swimming pools to choose from. There are plenty of sun loungers available here, however, you must arrive early to guarantee a place as the hotel visitors take up a majority of the loungers on offer.

Jumeirah Open Beach

Many beaches in Dubai are privately owned so if you don't want to pay this beach is a safe option. This beach was formerly known as Russian Beach and is popular for joggers, cyclists and rollerbladders who use the 1.8km promenade. There are several small tuck shops along the beach serving cheap snacks, drinks and even towels, as well as lifeguard posts.

Bars and Restaurants

Pierchic

The Pierchic is a stylish open-plan restaurant located at the Madinat Jumeirah. This restaurant serves gourmet seafood, including freshly caught oysters and crab risotto. It also overlooks the stunning Burj Al Arab hotel.

Things to do in Dubai in April

Jumeirah Mosque 

To really experience the true Dubai, travellers should see both the old and the new aspects of the emirates. For the old, head over to the Jumeirah Mosque. This mosque is the largest in Dubai and is also one of the most photographed sites in all of the UAE thanks to its spectacular traditional Islamic architecture.

Tours for non-muslims are conducted every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, but make sure to come back in the evening to see the building lit up.

Dubai Mall

To escape the heat, make sure to visit one of the world's largest shopping malls the Dubai Mall. This 20-billion-dollar complex offers over 1000 shops to choose from, selling anything from fashion and leather accessories to musical instruments. Other facilities at the shopping centre include a number of restaurants, an aquarium, ice rink and a cinema featuring 22 screens.
