Our wonderful holiday on the island of Djerba

Weather
Went to Djerba for 2 weeks last September and are going back this year again for 2 weeks.
The weather was superb, sunny and low 30s every day. The evenings are so warm and so is the sea.
We have found a lovely villa to rent just 2 minutes from a lovely sandy beach. If you are a sun lover like me then Djerba is the place to go.
Can't wait for 11th June when we go again.Holiday
Our holiday was relaxing and enjoyable with a lot to see. I would advise car hire just to get around then you can see everything.
We even visited the Sahara desert for a day, something we are going to do again, only stay for a couple of nights this time.Recommend Djerba to others?

Weather
The weather is beautiful, the ocean is clear and the sun glimmers on the surface.
We only spent 7 days there and i came home with a very deep tan andI'm normally very pale naturally!Holiday
We stayed at the El Mordadi Menzel.
There were plenty of activties to do: jet sking; all sorts of water sports and games; trips out to see the dolpins- although I didnt see any, i did meet someone that had.
We found the food very different, but after the first day of so we found a another restaurant to eat in that did more simple foods and, to be honest, the breakfasts there were amazing!
Outside of the hotel things are very cheap and inside the hotel is very expensive.
The croc place and Midorn Market are musts!
Taxis too are very cheap you can go pretty much anywhere for 5 dinar, which is £2.50.Recommend Djerba to others?
