Located on the north western coastal area of France; Dinard features a relatively mild climate in comparison to the UK and the remainder of France. Situated in close proximity to the townships of Pleurtuit and Saint Malo; Dinard is a small locality on the Cote dâEmeraude of Brittany. The nearby beaches and enjoyable mild climate create Dinard as a favourable holiday located for all Europeans, resulting in the presence of various famous residents and visitors.
Located in the surroundings of the Gulf Stream, Dinard benefits from a pleasing and warm climate for the majority of the year, always being several degrees higher than that of the neighbouring regions. The townâs famous Yacht club for example, always has the existence of tropical palms and plants that extend around the coastline on the Promenade du Claire de Lune. This is a renowned area which commonly plays soothing music during the evenings for couples and families to enjoy pleasurable walks throughout the summer and spring months.
Spring
Springtime in Dinard is relatively mild and can be a rather enjoyable time to vacation to the region. Climates will typically linger around 10ºC; however the area will commonly see temperatures climb to 16ºC by the end of May. Precipitation during spring is comparatively standard throughout the months of March, April and May averaging anywhere between 50mm to 65mm.
Summer
Summer is an exceptionally pleasant time to visit Dinard, and because of the many other famous French resorts, the beaches are never overly crowded. The sun will shine for approximately eight hours per day throughout the summer months, and given the Dinard is in such close proximity to the UK, is quite the comparison. Climates during the summertime will rarely drop below 15ºC and will typically average at 17ºC or 18ºC. August, being the areas hottest month, will regularly see climates climb to as high as 25ºC. Rainfall in Dinard is very constant throughout the year, and the summertime will receive just a little less rainfall than of that in the spring.
Autumn
Both autumn temperatures and precipitation levels are fairly similar to the spring time, however can be a little higher in all aspects. As the summer temperatures begin to fall the average climate throughout autumn will range between 9ºC to 15ºC. The beginning of autumn still remains a pleasant time to visit the region as towards the November, precipitation levels start to increase.
Winter
Although not as cold as the UK and most other European countries, the winter months in Dinard can still get relatively cold. By December average climates will be rather chilly ranging between 5ºC to 7ºC throughout the entire winter, however never below freezing. Since the sun still shines down for most days of the winter the temperature will commonly rise above 10ºC. Rainfall during this period is again quite constant although a little higher than summer.
