WHAT TO DO
As long as one is prepared for cool weather and temperatures that will hover around 13°C (55°F) in the afternoon, Dalyan still has a lot to offer in January.
There are lots of year round outdoor markets to visit, though some of them only happen on the weekend. Some of the markets are more authentic than others, but good prices and good products can be found no matter which market guests choose to visit.
For the outdoorsy and adventure type of guest, the area around Dalyan provides ample opportunities to go hiking and exploring, since the beaches and waters are too cold at this time of the year. There is one such popular trekking area between Gokbel and Iztuzu that will take around 3 hours to complete. One of the most popular spots in the city is Ottoman Karaoke and Cocktail Bar. The bar offers good, strong drinks at reasonable prices in a fun and friendly atmosphere that is welcoming to both locals and those on holiday.
