Dalaman Beach for February
A great nature and family oriented beach is Patara Beach located in Patara. It is one of the largest beaches in the regions at 8 miles long. Like "Turtle Beach", Patara Beach is part of a national park and has earned protective status. This is due to the biodiversity located in the region, it is second to "Turtle Beach" as the most important nesting area for the caretta caretta turtles in Turkey. The area is also very rich in birdlife and you will see birds such as the green sandpiper, reed warbler, and golden oriole among others. There is a charge of 2L to get into the area. Please keep in mind that the facilities will be very basic as it is a protected area. There is only one restaurant within the area so it is recommended to pack a picnic while you enjoy the miles of soft sand of Patara Beach.

A great option to try is Begonville House Café Bar & Restaurant in Dalyan. This welcoming bar and restaurant offers excellent international cuisine (Turkish, American, Italian) as well as wonderful cocktails. Some mains include a Chicken Alfredo, American Double Cheeseburger, and a Schnitzel Special. The signature dish here is a Lamb with Ottoman Rice, which can only be ordered by reservation. The friendly staff is helpful but do not pester. Be sure to try one of the pancakes with jam or the ice cream with fresh fruits for dessert.
Head to Alfresco Cocktail Bar in Fethiye for a fun night for the whole family. This cocktail bar has a live band perform every Wednesday. Drinks are well made and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very chilled out and the staff does its best to make sure you're having a great time. There's a large TV for any major sporting event and a ps3 available for the kids.
Things to do in Dalaman in February
Take a tour to a Dalyan mud bath. You will be picked up at your hotel at 9:00 and driven to Dalyan. You then board the boat to the mud baths and thermal pools. The tour continues as you head back on the boat to a riverside restaurant in Dalyan. The last destination before being returned to your hotel is Turtle Beach.
