Dalaman Beach for August 

For a fun beach day trip, check out Calis Beach near Fethiye. Located on the turquoise coast, this beach has become increasingly popular over the years. Calis was formerly a "work beach" with a small railway which ran to the jetty, usually carrying minerals from nearby mining sites. Things have changed as the only work you will have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy everything on offer. There are loads of Turkish and international restaurants offering fine cuisine along the beach. You will even find favourites from home such as a Sunday Roast. There is also a part of the promenade for pedestrians that is great for people watching as this area buzzes during the summer. Some menu items include a spaghetti carbonara, lamb chops and a shrimp cocktail. Speaking of cocktails, the ones served here have a strong pour so you'll be sure to enjoy the night out.
