Things to do in Dalaman in April
A great option for April is to hire a private boat tour such as Black Pearl Luxury Boat Tours in Dalyan. Shortly after passing the tombs, you head to Ekincik Bay and the Blue Caves where you will have the opportunity to snorkel and swim throughout. While in Dalaman, one cannot miss historical site is the Ancient Ruins of Kaunos near Dalyan. Kaunos was a large ancient city in Carian times and is often referred to in Greek mythology as being built by Apollo's grandson. It was previously on the waterfront which made it a relevant trading port. As the sea started to move away, this diminished the value of the city and it was abandoned in the 15th century. You will be able to see the city walls, Acropolis, amphitheatre, Roman baths, and a basilica.
