Mystery of La Salva
Costa Dorada has a full calendar of activities in August because major fiestas are held during this month and are able to take advantage of the dry weather. On the 15th of the month, residents commemorate the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - Mystery of La Selva. Each year a medieval drama is held by the parish church of La Selva del Camp enacting the Assumption. There will also be traditional folk dances, parades, street dancing and fireworks.
