Temperature
Come June, the weather continues to get better and better, with higher temperatures and little to no rainfall. The average daily temperature for Costa Caleta this month hits a very comfortable 23°C (about 73°F). This month's high is in fact two degrees warmer than May's average daily temperature at around 26°C (about 79°F). In the evening, the lows drop down to 19°C (around 66°F) which is also an increase.
With the higher temperatures during the day, you'll be comfortable in shorts, short-sleeved shirts and capris. Break out those flip-flops and sandals too! In the evening, you might want a light jacket or sweater, especially with the breezes that blow across the island.

Beaches in Costa Caleta for June
Caleta de Fuste
Costa Caleta has one main beach, named Caleta de Fuste after a nearby town. The beach is situated in a rounded harbor, creating a cove with a safe beach area perfect for kids to play on the white sands and the warm ocean water in June. The beach has new toilet facilities and a beach café for snacks, and while much of the sand was imported by the town, it still provides a great place to sunbathe. Several of the hotels down the way from the Caleta de Fuste beach also have their own private beaches for guests of those resorts.
Costa Calma
Head to the south end of the island and Costa Calma beach and enjoy a calm beach protected from the wind thanks to all the nearby hotels and resorts. Out in the water, however, the winds make for perfect conditions for watersports like surfing, wind-surfing and stand-up paddle boarding. Along with beautiful scenery, Costa Calma beach has amenities like lifeguards on duty and chair and umbrella rentals.
Bars and Restaurants
The Pickled Palm
Serving everything from pasties to curry, The Pickled Palm brings an English twist to the island of Fuerteventura and Costa Caleta. Other favorites include roast beef, fish and chips and freshly-caught seafood. The restaurant offers an outdoor terrace with ocean views; gluten-free, vegetarian and lactose-free menu choices; and a family-friendly environment. It is also open breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Nestor's
Found off the beaten path, in the town of Antigua just west of Costa Caleta, Nestor's serves up huge portions of homemade dishes. The restaurant is located in the Elite Fuerteventura Club, moving in 2014 from its downtown Costa Caleta location. Specialties include steak, paella, homemade chips and fresh seafood. The restaurant takes reservations and it's recommended you call in and book a table, especially on weekend nights.
Cave Lounge Café
After dinner, head over to the Cave Lounge Café and relax in a chill environment with your favorite cocktail. You can choose to enjoy your drink indoors or outdoors on the patio. Along with drinks, the bar serves pizza and bar snacks, so you can grab a bite to eat while you're there. The drink prices are reasonable to begin with, but you can save even more during the Happy Hour with drink specials.
