What's the Weather like in Costa Caleta in April
Temperature
The temperatures continue to rise in Costa Caleta in April, with an average daily temperature of 20°C (about 67°F). And while the amount of rain that falls during this time increases a bit during the month, overall, it's still a great time to visit and see what this resort in the Canary Islands have to offer.
The lows drop to a still very pleasant 16°C (around 61°F) and the highs go up to an average of 23°C (about 73°F). With these high temperatures, you can start wearing short-sleeved shirts, shorts and capris during the day. Average Sunshine Hours
During the day, you will have an amazing average of 11 hours of sunshine to get out and enjoy the resort and the surrounding towns of Fuerteventura. You'll also want some sunscreen with SPF to protect your skin when out and about outdoors.
Rainfall
The amount of rainfall increases slightly from March, up to 16mm over the course of the month. That amount of rain falls over 2 days on average, so you might be in for heavier downpours. Pack an umbrella, poncho or raincoat just in case your trip coincides with the rainy days, although you're unlikely to experience them. Overall, the chance of rain on any given day is only 6 percent and the chance of a cloudy day is 5 percent on average.
Average Sea Temperature
Even with the increasing sea temperatures, it's probably still a little chilly for most people. The average sea temperature this time of year is 19°C (about 66°F). If you do decide to brave the chilly water, be sure to have the proper wet or dry suit or limit your time in the water.
