Golf Costa Adeje

Thanks to the fantastic winter climate, Costa Adeje is a haven for active tourists throughout the year. Golf is one of the biggest sports in the area and fans can tee off at any time in this climate. To the west of Golf Las Americas you'll find the championship Golf Costa Adeje, characterised by incredible sea views and natural landscapes, is one of the most popular golf courses in the area, thanks to both its championship course and its golf school, meaning everyone from novices to pros can get a round in.

There are two courses to choose from here: one 18-hole par-72 course and one nine-hole par-33 course, so you can opt to play a long or short game. In addition to the spectacular courses, Golf Costa Adeje features a 45,000m2 driving range divided across three heights, practise bunker, putting greens and chipping greens. The onsite golf school is staffed by three professional instructors who provide lessons in English, Spanish, German, French and Dutch.

Dates for the diary

Every year on the 20th January, once mass is over, owners of horses, donkeys, goats and  will parade, pull, herd or ride their animals to La Enramada beach and cajole them into the sea for a symbolic cleansing before being blessed by the local priest. The event is called Festival of San Sebastian and takes place in La Caleta. It's a fantastic sight and a fun event - don't miss it, and don't forget your camera!
