Semana Santa (Holy Week) – Adeje Town Centre 🛐
Adeje hosts Tenerife’s most renowned Holy Week celebration, highlighted by the Good Friday Passion Play. Residents re-enact scenes from the life of Christ through the streets around Plaza de España. The event attracts thousands of spectators and is broadcast across the Canary Islands.

La Pasión de Cristo in Adeje 🛐
The centrepiece of Adeje’s Holy Week, this large-scale outdoor performance features over 300 local actors portraying the final hours of Jesus Christ. Costumes, music and narration combine to create a moving cultural and religious experience that has become one of Tenerife’s signature Easter events.
