Things to do in Costa Adeje in June

Siam Park

One of the biggest and best attractions the island has to offer, Siam Park is a great place to spend the day. Open throughout the year from 10am until 5 or 6pm, this large water park provides free shuttle buses to the park from Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. There are plenty of daredevil-type slides inside the park, such as the Tower of Power with its almost vertical 28m drop, as well as several more chilled out zones, like Siam Beach, and special kids' areas, such as the Lost City. On top of the water slides, Siam Park also features a number of kiosks, cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink or bite to eat.

Playa Torviscas

There are plenty of water sports to be done in Costa Adeje, with everything from parasailing to windsurfing to snorkelling on offer. Playa Torviscas in Costa Adeje is the place to go if you want to try your hand at water sports. This beach offers loads of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including parasailing, banana boats, jet skis, pedalos and water buggies. There is also a handful of amenities, including sun beds, parasols, showers and toilets.

Corpus Christi is perhaps the most famous and inspiring of Tenerife's religious festivals. Vast, intricate coloured carpets of flower petals and volcanic sands are laid out in the streets in many of the island's towns and cities; Costa Adeje is no exception. Generally, 3,500 kilos of vibrantly coloured salt is used to create alfombras de sal (carpets of salt) throughout Calle Grande and Calle Corpus in the old part of the town.
