Located on the south west coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Costa Adeje is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the whole of Spain. Perfect for families and couples alike, this resort offers fantastic year-round weather and a vast array of activities and attractions that everyone can enjoy, from the smallest child to the oldest adult. Whether your ideal holiday involves relaxing, exploring or entertainment, you'll find just what you're looking for in Costa Adeje.

Family-friendly

One of the biggest and best attractions the island has to offer, Siam Park is a great place to spend the day. Open throughout the year from 10am until 5 or 6pm, this large water park provides free shuttle buses to the park from Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. There are plenty of daredevil-type slides inside the park, such as the Tower of Power with its almost vertical 28m drop, as well as several more chilled out zones, like Siam Beach, and special kids' areas, such as the Lost City. On top of the water slides, Siam Park also features a number of kiosks, cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink or bite to eat.

For something more cost-effective, take a look at Aqualand. This water park is the older of the two and regularly offers deals and discounts for families with children. Here you'll find a handful of adrenaline-pumping water slides, as well as four extensive kids' zones, full of hidden places to explore. What really makes this water park stand out is the dolphinarium which boasts the best dolphin show in the world. There are a number of cafés and bars inside the water park, but visitors are also allowed to bring picnics in if they wish.

Open every day from midday until midnight on weekdays and until 1am on weekends, Megabowl Tenerife is great fun for everyone. This venue offers a number of bowling lanes where couples or groups can play against each other to see who comes out on top. As well as the bowling lanes, this venue also offers a sports bar and lounge which serves a selection of drinks and American-style food. If you're celebrating your child's birthday whilst on holiday, the team at Megabowl Tenerife will be happy to organise a party package for you, with bowling games, shoe hire, meal, drinks and a goodie bag for each guest.

Families travelling with young kids won't want to miss the chance to spend an afternoon at Miki Park. Located on the top floor of the El Duque Commercial Centre, this indoor play park offers a wealth of things to see and do for the little ones. Whilst the adults are enjoying a coffee at the bar-restaurant, the children can play in the ball pool, race go-karts, have a go at crazy golf or explore the playground. Open every day from 11am until 10pm, Miki Park is a great place to seek some shade during summer or while away a cloudy afternoon in winter.
