Gourmet-style Mediterranean dishes are freshly cooked and beautifully presented and there's a great selection of wines and other drinks available. U Paisanu

Last but not least, U Paisanu is a small but not-to-be-missed eatery located behind the marina in Bastia. Bonifacio

A popular landmark of Corsica is the Escalier du Roi d'Aragon, or King Aragon Steps located in the town of Bonifacio. This ancient set of steps are cut into the limestone cliffs, offering amazing scenic views for those who climb or ascend them. There are 187 steps that lead from the town down to ocean level. The area can get quite busy with travellers, but March is an ideal time to visit when the whole island will be much quieter.
