My Holiday in West Cork

Weather
Typically the soft rain was absent - there is glorious sunshie in Ireland at the moment (July '13). That said, even when it's raining, the place is beautiful especially the west coast, ie. Clonakilty beaches, Rosscarbery (The Warren, Owenahincha) along with the beautiful sports of Leap, Glandore and Skibbereen.
Holiday
The holiday there was fab made enjoyable by the people who are friendly - very talkative and modest. Most know how to enjoy themselves - and the craic in the pubs is second to none. Everyone joins in the the sing song (even when they can't sing) which is lovely - it's great to sing without worrying about criticism. No such worries here.

Weather
Summer weather is delightful...some summers can be quite warm...drink lots of water and leave the licquor for evening fun at the local pub.
Plenty to do even if the raindrops fall. Visitors from all over the globe are seen bycycling on the roads all summer. Mountain and hill climbing are sports enjoyed by all ages.
Tons of fun can be experienced in Cork no matter what your likes or activities are...in rain or shine!Holiday
All my holidays in Ireland have made me wish to be an Irish resident. So much happening every week in all the towns that dot the country. There is no lack of indoor or outdoor activities...sports, walking, bike riding, surffing from the beautiful beaches in West Cork and all along the Southern Coast. Cork Jazz Music are a must!
It is my dream to retire to West Cork. Going to look for an apartment this summer...maybe my dream will follow!Recommend Cork to others?
