One of the highly recommended B&B's in Cork is Auburn House. It has recently been refurbished and the rooms are comfortable and spotless. It is within walking distance of the popular restaurants and bars of Cork City and its hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of items served in generous portions.
Warm and friendly hosts may also be found at the Anam Cara B&B, which is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Cork and from Fitzgerald Park, a lovely place to take walks. Nightlife is also only a few minutes away. At the Anam Cara, guests are offered a choice of four different breakfasts, which are prepared with much care. The rooms are modest, but comfortable and there is good value for money spent.
