Things to do in Corfu in June
All Saints Day is held on June 3rd in Corfu around Agii Douli. On this day offerings are usually made, this may be in the form of lighting candles or leaving flowers on the graves of deceased relatives.
There are a variety of watersports available at Corfu, one of the most popular being the Crazy Speedboat tour. Often compared to the "Ferrari" of the ocean, this boat accelerates up to 80mph along the beachfront of Corfu. There is also the opportunity to stop off and enjoy a spot of snorkelling or swimming in the clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea.
Drive out to the village of Ano Garouna and climb Agii Deka, the island's second highest peak. This extinct volcano houses the ruins of Pandokratora monastery, with breathtaking views over the lagoon. Not too far away, you can join the winding Corfu Trail, which runs 137 miles from north to south. Wear your hiking boots--much of the trail is just dirt path!
Definitely don't miss Kanoni, a suburb of Corfu Town renowned for its postcard views and tasty cafes out on a picturesque harbour. You can take a bus or a bike out to the pretty peninsula.
