For the golf enthusiast, St. George Hotel Spa & Golf Resort is highly recommended. This hotel is located on beautiful gardens and boats incredible facilities: two level lounge/atrium, cocktail bar, pool bar, night club, beach bar, dinner restaurant, coffee shop, tennis courts with synthetic lawn, and beach volley to name a few. Additionally, the hotel has a huge outdoor pool, indoor pool, a children's pool, gymnasium, and Jacuzzi hydro massage. There isn't much left to be desired from a trip to St. George's hotel. It may be helpful to note that the hotel was fully renovated in March of 2013. Also, as the name suggests, the resort is located very close to several golf courses.

 

Beach in Coral Bay for July

Laourou Beach

One of the most popular things to do in Coral Bay is to go to the local beach where you will find beautiful white sand cradled between limestone cliffs and the pure blue Mediterranean Sea. However, it is not the only beach in the area. Within walking distance (1.1 km) of Coral Bay Resort is Laourou Beach. This unique beach offers a tranquil place to relax with your family. Much like Coral Bay, Laourou Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag Certificate for over 16 consecutive years. Blue Flag beaches receive this award for excellence in cleanliness, environmental protection, and water quality. This beach is not as popular as Coral Bay and may offer a break from the crowds. Facilities include umbrella hire, life guards, and a shower.

Spilies Bar

While in Cyprus, don't forget to thoroughly enjoy the local nightlife and cuisine. Spilies Bar offers local flavour and traditional Cypriot meals such as meze. Spilies even has its own private pool! Enjoy your meal in one of their natural caverns or outdoor seating arrangements. Offering a Thai menu on Thursdays, Spilies is truly an excellent place to relax and have a bite.

Frog & Toad Sports Bar

Another popular spot in Coral Bay is Frog & Toad Sports Bar. This local pub serves pizza and is open late night. Their menu includes delicious foods, such as fish and chips, at a reasonable price. Frog & Toad regularly hosts entertainment including Irish Dance, quiz night, and live musical performances. A great place to gather and watch football, too! This bar is very popular among Coral Bay's expat community.

Coral King Restaurant is another nearby location offering a traditional Cypriot and international cuisine. Their options include everything from BBQ to Greek to Pizza. Summer is arguably the best time of year to visit Coral Bay. The beautiful weather and bustling tourist industry ensure there's never a dull moment in this town. Especially if you're interested in water sports, swimming and adventure, this sea side town is the place to be. Why not combine the two and take yourself on an underwater adventure? 

Undersea Walkers can help you do just that! Fun for the whole family, going on an aquatic adventure doesn't require prior experience or swimming skills. Sea walking entails walking along the sea floor with an oxygenated helmet. Observe sea life, interact with the local sea life by feeding the fish. This company is 100% British owned and has been operating in the area since 2003. This is the only underwater sea walking company in Cyrus. Since the summer months are particularly popular for the activity, reservations are highly recommended.

Ithaki Amusement Park and Mini Golf

While the area surrounding Coral Bay is ripe with golf courses, children may find a day on the range a bit boring. Alternatively, take your family to Ithaki Amusement Park and Mini Golf. This place is truly fun for the whole family. The mini golf includes many obstacles and a windmills. The establishment also has a fully equipped snack bat with cocktails for parents. The bar is located between the mini golf and amusements so parents can relax while children enjoy themselves. The amusements are varied but children over 4 years are welcome to participate. Most traditional amusement games are available including bumper cars!

Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark

Beat the heat at Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark! This is the largest waterpark in the Paphos region and boasts a unique naturally landscaped park.
